Professor Pınar Akman is a Professor of Law specialising in competition at the University of Leeds. She is a prize-winning academic and an internationally renowned expert in competition law with over fifteen years of experience. She has presented her research all around the globe and provided expertise to numerous organisations including the IMF, OECD, European Parliament, House of Lords and World Economic Forum. She is a Member of the Financial Conduct Authority’s Innovation Advisory Group. She is a Non-Governmental Advisor to the United Kingdom and Turkey at the International Competition Network.
