Judgment on the preliminary issue was handed down on 11 November 2002. A further public hearing took place on 20 January 2003. Final judgment on the issues was handed down on 16 April 2003. As a result of the judgment the Director undertook to reconsider the pricing issues raised in the contested decision and to adopt a new decision by 16 July 2003. Subsequently, upon the application of the Director, the deadline for the new decision (or a new rule 14 notice) in relation to the pricing issues was extended to 16 October 2003. Following a further application by the Director the Tribunal granted a final extension of the deadline to 20th November 2003.
