Summary of application published on 4 June 2014.
A case management conference took place on 25 June 2014, at which the Chairman made various directions regarding the future conduct of the case.
On 2 July 2014, the Chairman made: (a) an Order suspending the effect of certain aspects of the Final Report in relation to Case: 1229/6/12/1/4; and (b) two confidentiality ring Orders.
A second case management conference took place on 8 July 2014, at which the Tribunal refused an application to adduce expert evidence (see the Reasoned Order drawn on 9 July 2014). The Tribunal’s reasons for dismissing the application are set out in a Ruling of 9 July 2014.
The Tribunal’s ruling on an application for disclosure was handed down at the Administrative Court at the Royal Courts of Justice on 25 July 2014.
On 30 July 2014, the Chairman made an order in relation to disclosure and the creation of a data room.
On 29 October 2014, the Chairman made an Order: (1) granting HCA permission to amend its notice of application; and (2) revising the procedural timetable.
A directions hearing took place on 15 December 2014. The Tribunal’s Ruling following that hearing was handed down on 23 December 2014.
On 11 February 2015, the Tribunal issued a ruling ([2015] CAT 3) in respect of HCA’s application for permission to appeal and a stay.
On 5 March 2015, the Court of Appeal granted permission to appeal.
On 21 May 2015, the Court of Appeal dismissed HCA’s appeal in its entirety.
By an Order dated 27 March 2017, the Tribunal granted HCA permission to withdraw its application.
