1424/5/7/21 (T) Kelkoo.com (UK) Limited & Others v Google UK Limited & Others

Claim for damages brought by Kelkoo.com (UK) Limited and a number of other claimants, listed in the Schedule of Claimants (set out below), against (1) Google UK Limited, (2) Google Ireland Limited, and (3) Google LLC in respect of alleged infringements of prohibitions imposed by Articles 101 and 102 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, and/or Chapters I and II of the Competition Act 1998.

The proceedings were transferred from the High Court to the Tribunal by consent by order of His Honour Judge Johns QC dated 10 November 2021.

On 1 March 2023, the parties sought a consent order relating to the disclosure of documents which would include certain documents from the European Commission's file. On 23 March 2023, a hearing took place where the Chair heard submissions from the parties regarding the protection of third parties' confidential information in the proposed disclosure and gave directions.

The case management conference listed to take place on 28 April 2023 was vacated.

A case management conference took place on 26 July 2023.

At a case management conference held on 26 March 2024, it was ordered that the proceedings should be subject to joint case management with Infederation Ltd v Google Inc and Others (Case 1589/5/7/23 (T)), Skimbit Limited & Others v Google UK Limited & Others (Case 1636/5/7/24) and Whitewater Capital Limited v Google LLC and Alphabet Inc. (Case 1596/5/7/23) (the "Google Shopping Proceedings").

A joint case management conference has been listed for 18-19 November 2024 in the Google Shopping Proceedings.
