Claim for damages brought by Allianz Global Investors GmbH and a number of other claimants, listed in the Schedule of Claimants (set out below), against (1) Barclays Bank plc; (2) Citibank N.A.; (3) Citigroup Inc.; (4) HSBC Bank plc; (5) JPMorgan Chase Bank N.A.; (6) JPMorgan Chase & Co.; (7) The Royal Bank of Scotland plc; (8) UBS AG; (9) MUFG Bank, Ltd; and (10) Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Inc. in respect of alleged infringements of Article 101 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union and/or Article 53 of the Agreement on the European Economic Area and/or Chapter I of the Competition Act 1998.

The proceedings were transferred from the High Court to the Tribunal by consent by order of the Honourable Justice Mr Justice Butcher dated 15 December 2021.

The case management conference listed for 1 November 2022 was vacated.

Upon the parties' agreement, the Tribunal made an order on 21 December 2022 that the proceedings be stayed until 31 January 2023.

The case management conference in Cases 1430(T) and 1436(T) listed to take place on 24-25 January 2023 was vacated.

On 30 January 2023, the Tribunal made an order by consent extending the stay of the proceedings until 28 February 2023.

On 28 February 2023, the Tribunal made an order by consent further extending the stay of the proceedings until 31 March 2023. 

On 5 April 2023, the Tribunal made an order by consent further extending the stay of the proceedings until 30 April 2023.

By an Order dated 23 May 2023, the proceedings were withdrawn by consent.
