Claim for damages brought by Allianz Global Investors GmbH and a number of other claimants, listed in the Schedule of Claimants (set out below), against (1) Deutsche Bank AG London; (2) Deutsche Bank AG; (3) Goldman Sachs International; (4) Goldman Sachs International Bank; (5) Goldman Sachs Group UK Limited; (6) Goldman Sachs Bank USA; (7) Morgan Stanley International Limited; (8) Morgan Stanley & Co. International PLC; (9) Bank of America N.A.; (10) Bank of America Merrill Lynch International Designated Activity Company; (11) Merrill Lynch International; (12) BNP Paribas S A; (13) BNP Paribas London Branch; (14) BNP Paribas Securities Services SCA; (15) Société Générale S.A.; (16) Standard Chartered PLC; (17) Standard Chartered Bank; and (18) Royal Bank of Canada in respect of alleged infringements of Article 101 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union and/or Article 53 of the Agreement on the European Economic Area and/or Chapter I of the Competition Act 1998.

The proceedings were transferred from the High Court to the Tribunal by consent by order of the Honourable Mr Justice Robin Knowles CBE dated 4 March 2022.

The Defendants made an application on 4 February 2022 for an order that limitation be determined as a preliminary issue. The hearing of the application took place on 29 September 2022. The Tribunal issued its decision on 11 October 2022 ([2022] CAT 44).

Upon the parties' agreement, the Tribunal made an order on 20 December 2022 that the proceedings be stayed until 31 January 2023.

The case management conference in Cases 1430(T) and 1436(T) listed to take place on 24-25 January 2023 was vacated.

On 30 January 2023, the Tribunal made an order by consent extending the stay of the proceedings until 28 February 2023.

On 28 February 2023, the Tribunal made an order by consent further extending the stay of the proceedings until 31 March 2023.

On 5 April 2023, the Tribunal made an order by consent further extending the stay of the proceedings until 2 May 2023.

By an Order dated 23 May 2023, the proceedings were withdrawn by consent.
