Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, due to the non-compliances and exemptions’ listed below.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.
Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
- A number of non compliant areas were identified but have since been resolved
Until a full audit is completed we ca no guarantee all parts of the website are compliant
The following issues have since been resolved
- WCAG 2.1.1 Keyboard
Users should be able to use a keyboard to access all content and functionality of a web page. This means the page can be used by people with no vision as well as people who use alternative keyboards or input devices that act as a keyboard.
This effected all pages
- WCAG 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value
Incorrect use of ARIA attributes can cause conflicts with semantic HTML elements which may cause errors in assistive technology and make accessibility worse for a user. ARIA defines which attributes are allowed and where.
This effected all pages
- WCAG 2.4.7 Focus visible
Poor focus on the Contact page send message button.
Disproportionate burden
Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations
PDFs and other documents
Some older PDFs may lack the necessary WCAG 2.4.2 Page titled compliance. We do not currently have the facilities to check all our sites PDFs to check compliance. To fully resolve this would require a disproportionate burden on the Competition Service.
If any non compliant files are found they will be updated.
All new PDFs we publish will meet accessibility standards.
What we’re doing to improve accessibility
We are currently undergoing an accessibility audit. Once this audit is complete, we will implement the recommended changes.
