1575/5/7/22 (T) Primark Stores Limited and Others v Visa Limited and Others

This case is one of a number of cases transferred to the Tribunal from the High Court pursuant to an Order of the Chancellor of the High Court dated 7 April 2022 (the “Transfer Order”). The Transfer Order was subsequently re-amended on 13 September 2022 pursuant to CPR 40.12 by the direction of Master Clark.

All cases transferred to the Tribunal pursuant to the Transfer Order involve claims against entities in the Visa and/Mastercard group of companies in respect of alleged interchange fee overcharges.

On 17 January 2023, the President made an Order designating this case as a “Host Case” pursuant to Practice Direction 2/2022 (Umbrella Proceedings).
