On 10 January 2020, the Tribunal gave a Ruling in relation to permission to appeal (which was refused) and the costs of the Intervener ([2020] CAT 2). On 20 January 2020, the Chairman made an order in relation to the costs of the Respondent.

Royal Mail applied to the Court of Appeal for permission to appeal, which was granted. On 7 May 2021, the Court of Appeal issued its judgment dismissing Royal Mail’s appeal ([2021] EWCA Civ 669).
